History

The Energy Conversion and Conservation Center (ECCC) was established in 1996 by legislative act of the State of Louisiana. The center operates under the auspices of the College of Engineering at the University of New Orleans (UNO). Dr. Ting Wang was appointed in August 1999 as the founding director of the ECCC to lead the center from conception to reality.
